B003 Your Story, Genre, Logline & the Premise

“These are the most important sales tools for a writer.”

If you want to present your screenplay to anyone that may be able to produce or pay you for your work – and you want them to read it – you’d better have a logline that you can send them. Competitions and pitching events expect you to have one, and producers and script readers often want to see or hear the logline before they will agree to read the screenplay.

Included in the class is…

  • What is a story?
  • Why is Genré Important?
  • How to identify your Genré
  • What is a logline?
  • How to construct your logline.
  • Logline Mistakes
  • What is a Premise?
